Sarah Beckman

I was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN and now reside in sunny San Diego with my husband and twin boys. I juggle the demands of domesticity with my role as Associate Director of Development at The San Diego Museum of Art and my own stationery business, Truly Fine Design.

Moving from friends to family, life in California has fine-tuned my aesthetic, inspired my personal style, and taught me to slow down while life speeds up. My inner urbanite is thrilled to visit galleries and museums, shop boutiques, hit dive bars, and try new restaurants. Moving to the suburbs released my provincial self and now I paint, write, run trails, hike mountains, swim the surf, and get high on the smell of chaparral and sage.

I am smitten with color, coffee, music, boys, birds, friendship, fashion, food, photography, words, fine art and great design. I admire bravery, creativity, efficiency, independence and tolerance.
